Privacy & affiliate disclosure
This site is run by one person, not a company with a data department. So this page is short, and it is honest.
Who runs this site
realisemyself.com is operated by Marvin, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. For any question about your data, or to ask me to delete it, email hello@realisemyself.com and I will handle it myself.
What I collect, and what I don't
If you just read the site: nothing personal. There is no advertising network here, no tracking pixel, and no behavioural profiling. My hosting provider keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and to count visits, as every web host does.
If you join the waitlist or newsletter: I collect your email address, and your name if you give it. That is stored with MailerLite, my email provider, who process it on my behalf. I use it to send you what you signed up for and nothing else. I do not sell, rent or share your email address with anyone. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you immediately.
If you email me: I keep the conversation in my inbox so I can reply properly. Nothing more happens with it.
Cookies
This site uses only what is strictly necessary to function, plus a small record of whether you have dismissed the cookie note, so it does not reappear on every page. There are currently no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party trackers. If a page shows content from another service, that service may set its own cookies, and their policy applies there.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the price you pay is exactly the same, and I may receive a small commission that helps keep this site online and free to read. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
What that does not change: I only link to things I actually use, have tested, or would recommend to a friend, and every card says honestly which of those applies. A commission has never bought a recommendation here, and never will.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask me what data I hold about you, ask for a copy, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me and I will do it, usually the same week. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe I have handled your data badly, though I would rather you told me first so I can fix it.
Honest disclaimer
Everything on this site is shared as personal experience and as research translated into plain language. It is not medical, psychological, dietary or financial advice, and it does not replace an assessment by a professional who knows your situation. If you have a health condition, are on medication, or are making a significant financial decision, please speak to a qualified professional first.
